New Day

Some days are harder than others,

When we just want to be in the arms of our mother.

When every moment is a torment,

And the outcomes feel like a punishment.

When the flowers in our garden blossom no more;

And the roads feel far from home;

When every taste is like poison to the soul;

And the needle shamelessly pokes in the heart from hole to hole.

And my mind blanks out these moments so I don’t remember.

After autumn there is a new season that changes;
